Sierra Service Center
While on our way to Tombstone, AZ for the weekend we noticed a horrific sound coming from the front on our 2007 Jeep Liberty. We figured it had to be either the transfer case, front diff or something in between. By the time we got to Tombstone we had parked the Jeep and tried to investigate more with no luck (and no tools). Saturday morning we got up and decided to head to Bisbee, AZ. Everything seemed fine until we got further down the road and the metallic clanking got even worse. Once we hit Bisbee we knew something had to be done, but the big question was "where?"... After looking through options on Yelp, Sierra Service Center seemed like our best and closest bet. I called and the gentleman on the other end of the line was extremely friendly and told us to bring it right in. After a quick breakfast we hopped in the Liberty and carefully made our way to Sierra Vista, AZ. Once we arrived at Sierra Service Center we were promptly greeted and taken care of. Quite frankly I've never had a vehicle looked at, diagnosed and fixed so quickly. We couldn't have been there more than an hour or so. The staff was also very good at showing us exactly what went wrong even going as far as bringing the part to us to inspect ourselves. The mechanic definitely knows his stuff. It ended up being a "soon to be completely broken" front drive shaft. We ended up just having it removed and the transfer case serviced. They also topped off the coolant for free. I feel the final invoice was also very fair especially considering how quickly we were back on the road and able to enjoy the rest of our weekend. If you are having vehicle issues do not hesitate to bring your vehicle here. The team at Sierra Service Center are top notch. Wish we had them here in El Paso, TX!
Thanks for you detailed review Chad! We are happy we were able to solve your problem and get back to your vacation schedule. Hope you enjoy Arizona. Coffee pot is always on if you get in our neck of the woods again! Jimmy and the Sierra Service Center team.
